Dining textiles

13.07.2011

Especially for the new concept store Weidesign & more, Weidesign developed dining textiles in concert with Lianne Kuijpers. The collection  consists of table linen, napkins, placemats and tea towels.
The decorations are based on drawing lines, evolving from a traditional checkered design to a more complex one, referring to technical drawings of electrical systems. To underline the inspiration kitchen appliances, both electrical and manual, are connected in a maze of crossing lines.
The collection is damask woven by the TextielLab of the Textile Museum in Tilburg.
