Invitation to opening Weidesign & more

Products well designed and original. That’s what Chantal van der Erve and Rob Groenen are looking for. They are the founders of Weidesign & more, the new concept store in the city of Haarlem. Here, a changing scape is presented of both fashion and design. Like home, clothing and furniture are simply combined. Worthwhile is that products are being designed and developed continuously in the store.

Weidesign & more is a small but surprising warehouse, holding two floors. Upstairs you may find an inspiring layout offering fashion, special accessories and the colourful Weidesign bags collection. Timeless Dutch fashion brands, both fashionable and affordable. Meticulously crafted clothing, often made of natural fibres and comfortable to wear.

Downstairs the emphasis is on Design products. Here the creative process also takes place and is open to the public. The beautiful dining textiles, inspired on line drawings, are on display. They are developed in concert with Lianne Kuijpers. We also made unique pillows for which Annemiek Steenhuis selected the most appealing pieces of fabric, left over after the production of a fashion collection.

The special furniture is designed by Dutch and international designers. Unique for Haarlem is the collection of the Danish brand Hay, starring Scholten and Baijings. The authentic pillows of Nooo Sugar and the graphical wooden lamps of the Finnish Secto can also be found solely at Weidesign & more. In short, there is a lot to experience.
